Community-reported herbicide spray observations across Orange County

Important: This is a historical documentation tool, not a real-time tracker. We are grateful for the hard work our county employees and contractors do to maintain Orange County's waterways. All reports are reviewed by our team and verification is intentionally delayed to ensure we are never broadcasting active operations. The safety of workers in the field is our top priority. We will remove any submission that includes identifying information about individuals or that could be used to target, harass, or endanger anyone. Our goal is to raise awareness of controversial herbicide use in Orange County and its impact on public and environmental health — never to put people at risk.

Do not interfere with, disrupt, or confront county workers or contractors. If you witness spraying activity, observe from a safe distance and report it here. The people carrying out this work are doing their jobs — our advocacy is directed at the policy decisions, not the individuals on the ground.

Waterways are sourced from the county's own NPDES Public Notice — the official list of sites Orange County has indicated it plans to spray with herbicides in 2026.
